Tradesyncer alternatives for Tradovate futures traders

Last reviewed 29 September 2026

Search for Tradesyncer alternatives and most of what comes back is a general software directory listing thirteen products, of which two are futures copiers and the rest are MetaTrader tools and trading journals. This page covers the case those lists miss: you trade futures, your accounts are on Tradovate, and you want to know what else is out there and on what grounds it differs. Prices and policies below carry the month they were checked, because in this market both change.

First, what Tradesyncer does well

It is worth being clear about this, because for a lot of traders the honest answer to "what should I switch to" is "nothing".

If you recognise yourself in those four points, you are already using the right tool. The rest of this page is for the traders who do not.

The three axes alternatives actually differ on

Feature lists in this market are close to identical — everyone copies orders, mirrors brackets and caps risk per account. The differences that change your experience are structural:

The alternatives, side by side

Product Architecture Pricing model Platforms
Tradesyncer Cloud $49–$149 per month Tradovate, Rithmic, NinjaTrader
Tradecopia Desktop, or cloud on the higher tiers $49.99–$149.99 per month Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Rithmic, TopstepX, TradingView
TradeDupe Cloud $30 per month Tradovate only
Affordable Indicators TradeCopier Standalone desktop app $175–$295 one-time NinjaTrader, TradingView, Tradovate, Rithmic
ETP (Platformless) Standalone desktop app €197 one-time, excl. VAT
1 connection; +€47 each
Tradovate, Rithmic, NinjaTrader 8, cTrader and six more
Replikanto (FlowBots) NinjaTrader 8 add-on up to $399, lifetime or 1-year Requires NinjaTrader 8
Tradovate Group Trade Built into Tradovate Free Tradovate, one login only
Syncopy Local desktop app (Windows) $149 one-time Tradovate, TradingView; TopstepX planned

Prices as published by each vendor and checked September 2026, in USD except ETP, which prices in euros excluding VAT. Annual and quarterly billing reduces several of the monthly figures. Two entries need a footnote of their own: FlowBots sells Replikanto in four variants (one or two machines, one year or lifetime) and publishes a range rather than per-variant prices, and copying between machines over the internet consumes credits sold separately — so "one-time" holds only for same-machine use. ETP’s €197 covers one simultaneous connection and one leader group; extra connections are €47 each (€127 for three, €187 for five, €327 for ten) and extra leader groups €47, all one-time. A cross-firm setup needs one connection per prop firm login, so three firms comes to €291 excluding VAT.

What it costs over two years

Headline prices are hard to compare because they are charged for different things. Most copiers price per connection, and a connection is one broker login — three accounts at one prop firm is one connection, an account at a second firm is a second one. So the same trader pays different amounts depending on how many firms they are spread across, not how many accounts they run.

Below is one trader — a leader plus five followers — with only the number of prop firm logins changing. Totals are 24 months at each vendor’s monthly rate, as published in September 2026.

Product All at one firm Two firms Three firms
Tradovate Group Trade Free Not possible Not possible
Syncopy $149 $149 $149
Affordable Indicators TradeCopier $175 $175 $175
ETP (Platformless) €197 €244 €291
Copilink Standalone $693 $693 $693
TradeDupe $720 $720 $720
Tradecopia $1,200 $1,200 $1,200
Tradesyncer $1,176 $1,176 $2,376

Assumptions, because they change the answer. Twenty-four months at the published monthly rate; annual or quarterly billing reduces several of these materially — Tradesyncer states up to 30% off for annual, Tradecopia’s desktop tier drops to $34.99 quarterly. Tradesyncer’s $49 plan covers two connections and its $99 plan four, which is why the third firm moves the row. ETP is in euros excluding VAT and includes one connection, with each additional one at €47; add €97 if you want its advertising removed. Where a vendor publishes no connection-based pricing, the flat plan price is shown — if such a charge exists and is not published, the figure is a floor rather than a total. Group Trade is free but needs all accounts under one brokerage login, and carries its own limits: no mobile, no ATM strategies, and order quantity must be a multiple of the group total.

The row worth reading first is the top one. If all your accounts sit at one prop firm and you do not need mobile or ATM strategies, Tradovate’s own Group Trade does this for nothing, and no product in this table is worth paying for. The case for paying begins at the second login.

Picking by case

Approval matters more than features

Prop firms differ on what they permit, and the rules are enforced at payout rather than at setup — which means you can run a configuration for months before finding out it was not allowed.

Take Profit Trader maintains a published list of approved copiers and states that using one outside it may result in enforcement action. Apex Trader Funding, MyFundedFutures, Tradeify and Lucid Trading publish no such list, but each sets its own conditions on copying — typically that the accounts are your own, that positions move in the same direction, and that there is no hedging between them.

We keep a maintained matrix of what each firm publishes, with the source and the date it was last checked, at prop firm rules for copy trading. Verify against your own firm before you buy anything.

Where Syncopy fits, and where it does not

This page is maintained by Syncopy, which is one of the products in the table. Two things you should weigh against everything above:

Syncopy has not been released. It is in private testing and there is a waitlist. If you need to copy trades this week, it is not an option — pick from the rest of the table.

Syncopy is not on Take Profit Trader's approved list. Tradesyncer, Tradecopia, Affordable Indicators and Replikanto Flowbot are. If you trade at TPT, that settles it for now.

What it is: a Windows desktop application that runs on your own machine with no server in between, built for Tradovate specifically, sold once for $149 with no subscription and no cap on how many accounts the licence covers. It suits traders on Tradovate who want to stop paying monthly and want the copying to happen on hardware they control. It does not suit anyone who needs Rithmic, NinjaTrader, macOS, or a copier that keeps running while their machine is off.

Frequently asked questions

What are the main alternatives to Tradesyncer for Tradovate?

As of September 2026, the copiers most often compared with Tradesyncer by futures traders on Tradovate are: Tradecopia (desktop or cloud, $49.99 to $149.99 per month), TradeDupe (cloud, $30 per month, Tradovate-only), Affordable Indicators TradeCopier ($175 to $295 one-time), ETP Platformless (€197 one-time excluding VAT, with ten connection types but only one simultaneous connection included; extra connections are €47 each), Replikanto by FlowBots (up to $399, sold as a lifetime or one-year licence and requiring NinjaTrader 8, with internet copying billed in separately sold credits), Syncopy ($149 one-time, local, Windows, not yet released), and Tradovate's own built-in Group Trade, which is free but works within a single brokerage login only. General software directories list many more, but most of those are forex copiers or trading journals rather than futures copiers.

Why would someone look for a Tradesyncer alternative?

The three reasons that come up most often are cost model, architecture, and platform fit. Tradesyncer is a subscription, from $49 to $149 per month as of September 2026, which compounds over multi-year use compared with a one-time purchase. It is cloud-hosted, so orders pass through vendor infrastructure rather than going from your own machine to the broker; some traders prefer a local application. And it covers many prop firms and platforms, which is an advantage if your accounts are spread across Tradovate, Rithmic and NinjaTrader, but adds breadth you do not need if you are on Tradovate only.

Is Tradesyncer approved by prop firms?

Take Profit Trader publishes a list of approved trade copiers, and Tradesyncer is on it, alongside Tradecopia, Affordable Indicators and Replikanto Flowbot. Using a copier that is not on that list may result in enforcement action at TPT. Most other firms, including Apex Trader Funding, MyFundedFutures, Tradeify and Lucid Trading, do not publish an approved list and instead set rules about what copying is permitted between accounts you own. Approval status matters more than any feature comparison: a copier your firm does not permit can cost you the account regardless of how well it works.

Is a local trade copier better than a cloud one?

Neither is better in general; they fail differently. A cloud copier keeps running when your own machine sleeps or loses power, needs no installation, and works from any device — that is a genuine advantage for traders who are not always at one desk. A local copier keeps credentials and order flow on your own machine and removes one intermediary between you and the broker, but it stops when your machine does, which is why some local-copier users run one on a VPS anyway. Choose by which failure you would rather have.

Can I use Tradovate's built-in Group Trade instead of a copier?

For some setups, yes, and it costs nothing. Tradovate Group Trade copies orders between accounts that share the same brokerage login, so it works for several accounts at one prop firm but cannot bridge two firms. It also has limits worth knowing before you rely on it: it is not available on mobile, it does not work with ATM strategies, and order quantity must be a multiple of the group total, which caps out quickly as the account count grows. If those limits do not affect your setup, the free option is the sensible starting point.

About this comparison

Maintained by Syncopy, which appears in the table above. Prices come from each vendor's own published pricing page, with the month they were checked stated under the table; prop firm policies come from each firm's own published rules. Nothing here is based on a vendor's marketing claim about a competitor. If you find something out of date, the page carries a review date for exactly that reason — tell us and it gets corrected.
