Who builds Syncopy, and what is actually proven

Last updated 2 October 2026

Syncopy is made by one person who trades futures on Tradovate across several prop firm accounts, and who built it because the thing he wanted did not exist. That is the whole organisation. This page says what is running on real money today, what is not proven yet, and how the comparisons elsewhere on this site are kept honest — because a tool that touches funded accounts should be judged on checkable claims rather than on a brand.

Why it exists

Running the same decision across several prop firm accounts by hand is slow and easy to get wrong. The tools on offer were monthly subscriptions that routed orders through someone else's servers, priced per connection or per account, so the bill grew exactly as the setup grew. What was missing was something that ran on the trader's own machine and was bought once.

So it got built, for the maker's own accounts first. Everything on this site follows from that: it is a tool that someone uses daily on their own money, not a product looking for a market.

What is proven, and what is not

This matters more than a feature list, and almost no product in this category states it. As of October 2026:

Syncopy is not for sale yet, and that is the reason. Finding the remaining problems with one person's own money is better than finding them with someone else's.

How the comparisons here are maintained

Several pages on this site compare Syncopy with other copiers, or list what prop firms allow. Those are useful only if they are accurate, so they follow fixed rules:

If something here is out of date or wrong, saying so is genuinely welcome — it gets corrected and the date on the page changes.

What Syncopy is not

Frequently asked

Who builds Syncopy?

One person, based in the Netherlands, who trades futures on Tradovate across several prop firm accounts. There is no team and no company page, because there is no team. Syncopy was built because the tools on offer were monthly subscriptions that routed orders through someone else's servers, and the alternative did not exist.

Has Syncopy been tested with real money?

Yes, on the maker's own live accounts since July 2026, with one leader account and one follower. Most of what has been fixed since then was found on real trades rather than in testing. Copying across more than one follower at a time is being validated now and is not yet proven, which is one reason the product has not been released.

How are the comparisons on this site kept accurate?

Prices come from each vendor's own published pricing page, with the month they were checked stated next to the table. Prop firm policies come from each firm's published rules or written confirmation from their support, with a source link and a date per row. Nothing is based on a competitor's marketing claim about another competitor, and no page makes a speed claim, because none of those are verifiable from outside.

Why is there no name on the site?

Syncopy is published under the product name rather than a personal one for now. What matters for judging a tool that touches funded accounts is whether its claims can be checked, and every factual claim on this site carries a source and a date for exactly that reason. Questions go to hello@syncopy.app and are answered by the person who writes the code.

What is Syncopy not?

It is not a signal service: no one else's trades are copied to your accounts. It is not a managed account or an automated strategy; it mirrors orders you place yourself. It is not financial advice, and it is not affiliated with Tradovate, NinjaTrader, or any prop firm. Whether a copier is permitted is set by your own firm, and those rules differ and change.
